
As part of the Expo Ganadera del Centro, held in the city of Córdoba at the Convention Center on September 30th, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Argentina organized the regional workshop on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), as part of the activities of the SCALA project. This global initiative, developed together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), seeks to support the sustainable transition of the agricultural sector.
The workshop was held in a hybrid format and was attended by officials and technicians from government areas related to agriculture and climate change from the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, and Santa Fe, as well as from the National Government. In addition, provincial representatives and coordinators of nodes and/or provincial GAP boards participated, along with key sector institutions such as INTA and the academic sector. On behalf of UNDP, participants included Matias Mottet and Nahuel Pugliese from the Environment and Sustainable Development Area, Carla Pascale Medina, SCALA Project Coordinator, Nieves Pascuzzi, GAP specialist consultant, Marcelo Borré, Coordinator of Inclusive Insurance Projects, and SCALA project consultants.
