The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Argentina participated, together with its partners CREA and AAPRESID, of the event "Sustainable Production: Innovation and Good Practices for a More Competitive and Resilient Agricultural Sector," organized by the Argentine Rural Society (SRA in spanish). The event provided a forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences on advancing sustainability in agriculture across the country.

Representing UNDP in Argentina, SCALA Programme Coordinator Carla Pascale and consultant Laureano Corvalán presented tools and approaches to strengthen the country's agricultural development. CREA, on the other hand, was represented by agronomist Mercedes Vasallo and carbon footprint specialist Pablo Cañada.

The event opened with remarks by Manuel Chiappe, Undersecretary for Agricultural and Forestry Production at Argentina’s Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. Read full article on UNDP Argentina.
