Africa needs $100 bln annually for climate adaptation efforts: UNDP’s chief economist

Africa needs over $100 billion every year through 2030 to make progress in climate change mitigation and adaptation, Chief Economist and Head of Strategy, Analysis and Research at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Africa Raymond Gilpin told Ahram Online.
