Community Climate Change Fund Launch - UNDP

On 14th November 2014, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched the Community Climate Change Adaptation Fund. The fund is one of 4 components under the Grenadian-German Integrated Climate Change Adaptation Strategies pilot project that is jointly implemented by GIZ, the German International Cooperation Agency and UNDP.

UNDP is supporting the implementation of the CCCAF, which provides grants up to US$ 50,000 to NGO, CBO, grassroots organisations and climate change innovators for projects proposing solutions for communities to adapt to the effects of climate change in Grenada. The ICCAS project is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag.
