Around the world, climate risks are intensifying, placing increasing pressure on communities, economies and ecosystems. Adaptation is an increasingly urgent development priority as countries seek to reduce these risks and build resilience.
Countries are articulating increasingly ambitious adaptation priorities through National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and other national strategies. Turning these ambitions into action at the scale and speed required calls for stronger partnerships, sustained investment and opportunities to learn from what works.
Launched by UNDP in 2025, the Adaptation and Resilience Dialogues is a global dialogue series that brings together governments, development partners, practitioners, technical experts and the wider adaptation community to exchange knowledge and explore practical solutions that can be applied across countries and regions.
The series showcases lessons from UNDP-supported adaptation initiatives financed through the GEF-managed Least Developed Countries Fund, Green Climate Fund, Adaptation Fund and other partners, while exploring innovative approaches and financing models to support countries in accelerating adaptation action.
