UNDP Annual Report 2021

The world faced multiple crises in 2021. The climate emergency escalated. Social unrest and conflict flared. Inequalities deepened as COVID-19 continued to devastate lives and diminish economies, plunging millions more into poverty.

Evaluation of the project "Integrating Agriculture into National Adaptation Plans (NAP-Ag)"

The evaluation found that NAP-Ag’s country-driven, multi-sector and multi-level approach allowed for ample engagement of stakeholders, contributed to establish coordination mechanisms and promoted ownership of results. The approach was qualitative and included a questionnaire, extensive documentation review and interviews with key-stakeholders in all countries.

Integrating Agriculture in National Adaptation Plans (NAP-AG) Programme Highlights 2015–2017

This is a summary of activities of the National Adaptation Plans Programme (NAP–Ag), funded by the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB). The NAP–Ag Programme is supporting countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to identify and integrate climate change adaptation measures into relevant national planning and budgeting processes.

The joint United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Integrating Agriculture in National Adaptation Plans – Programme (NAP– Ag) is a multi–year initiative (2015–2018) funded by the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
