Photo book | Climate Resilience: Voices from Viet Nam's coastal communities (2023)

In Viet Nam, coastal communities are on the front lines of climate change, enduring its harshest impacts. Led by the Government with support from the Green Climate Fund and UNDP, the project 'Improving Resilience of Vulnerable Coastal Communities to Climate Change in Viet Nam' has strengthened local resilience by constructing 4,000 storm- and flood-resilient homes and restoring 4,000 hectares of mangroves. These efforts provide natural protection against storm surges and create new economic opportunities for local communities.
