Cover of net zero publication

This guide presents a framework designed to help agrifood companies strengthen the resilience of their supply chains to climate risks while reducing emissions, in alignment with the Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans of the countries where they source, produce, buy, and sell products. At its core, this framework helps businesses move beyond high-level climate commitments and translate net zero and resilience goals into concrete actions that align with national priorities. The framework comprises four key steps: 1. Build management commitment for climate action in supply chains; 2. Implement climate adaptation strategies in supply chains; 3. Reduce supply chain greenhouse gas emissions through targeted mitigation actions; and 4. Track, evaluate, and disclose progress to ensure continuous improvement.
