Led by Rwanda's Environment Management Authority (REMA), the project 'Ecosystems/Landscape approach to climate proof the Rural Settlement Program of Rwanda' (known as LDCF3") is building community resilience by climate-proofing rural settlements through a multi-faceted approach. This includes relocating vulnerable communities to safer areas, constructing climate-resilient infrastructure, promoting sustainable land management practices, and restoring degraded landscapes. The project also focuses on improving livelihoods through initiatives like providing improved cookstoves and creating green jobs.
