Maura leads a group of four people working at the El Embarcadero high-tech nursery, located in Melena del Sur, Mayabeque province. With a production capacity of up to 20,000 plants in tubes, it is one of seven nurseries in six Cuban provinces that, within the framework of the GCF-funded "Mi Costa" project, will contribute to reforesting coastal wetlands as a natural solution to the effects of climate change.
