The United Nation’s Development Programme (UNDP) in Argentina participated in Expoagro 2026, one of the most important events in the country’s agricultural sector, with the aim to strengthen joint work relations with provincial governments.

UNDP officials met with representatives from the provinces of Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires, all of whom take part in Project SCALA (Scaling up Climate Ambition on Land Use and Agriculture).

The meetings centered around their most recent advances in the implementation of the project and future opportunities of collaboration, including contributions to good agricultural practices plans and the development of farming insurance strategies.

Representing the UNDP in Argentina there was Nahuel Pugliese from the Area of Environment and Sustainable Development; Carla Pascale, Project SCALA’s Coordinator; Nieves Pascuzzi, special consultant in Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs); and Marcelo Borré, project coordinator of inclusive insurances.

The organization’s participation in Expoagro created an opportunity for information exchange with the sector’s key players and strengthening of the work relations alongside the provinces that wish to be a part of this project. Full story and video available here
